South Alabama Electric Cooperative (SAEC) Awards Scholarships to Local Students

For over 21 years, South Alabama Electric Cooperative has helped support our community by presenting $1,000 Electric Cooperative Foundation Scholarships to deserving high school seniors planning to attend an accredited four-year college, community college, technical school or vocational school.

In 2025, SAEC selected 20 deserving seniors who were awarded scholarships to give them a head start on their college careers.

Scholarships aren’t the only way SAEC gives back to our community.

The 2026 Scholarship Application will be available in November.

Deadline: February 20, 2026 by 5 p.m.
