How do I update my contact information?

Visit southaec.com and select “Login & Pay Your Bill”. Once you have logged in, select “profile” under Quick Links to update your cell phone information. If you have never created an online account, you can do so by selecting “create account” on the login page and follow these steps:

  1. Enter your account number
  2. Select which method to send the verification code  (If we do not have either your cell phone or email on record you will need to call SAEC at this point)
  3. Enter the verification code and click “verify”
  4. Complete the registration page
  5. Username must be between 6 and 60 characters
  6. Username cannot contain two consecutive identical special characters
  7. Username can only contain the following special characters – periods (.), hyphens (-), underscores (_), or at symbols (@)
  8. Username must start and end with a letter or digit
  9. Click submit

Why was I not enrolled in the SAEC Text Outage System?

If you did not receive a welcome text confirming your enrollment in the SAEC Text Outage System, please update your contact information on our website. You can update your phone information by clicking here.

How do I opt into the SAEC Text Outage System?

SAEC Members are automatically opted into the service if a correct cell number is on file.  Once you update your cell phone information, you will be able to text in your outage within 24 hours.

How do I opt out of the SAEC Text Outage System?

Simply text “STOP” to 1-800-556-2060.

What is the SAEC Text Outage System?

SAEC Text Outage System is an automated texting service that enables SAEC members to text in their service interruptions without calling our Operations Center. SAEC members can text “OUT” to report their outage and “STATUS” for updates.
